At Wilkinson, multifamily investing is a financial resource for our giving vision. By 2030 we want to be feeding, clothing, and providing education and love to 1000 children a day while supporting solutions to the causes of the parentless pandemic. Stand Up for Kids with Wilkinson brought together families, donors, investors, and individuals to support the organizations that help us solve these issues in the world today.

A Night of Connection and Purpose
The event was a resounding success, with 120 attendees coming together on a snowy Wednesday night to support this important cause. There was so much energy in the room as attendees mingled, learned about the mission of local organizations, and participated in activities that brought the community closer together.
Giving Organizations a Platform
One of the most meaningful aspects of the evening was providing a platform for Skookum Kids, ShowHope, and Sweet Home India to connect with attendees and grow their donor bases. These organizations are on the front lines of addressing the challenges of the parentless pandemic, and we were honored to help amplify their voices and needs.

In addition to those who attended to experience these organizations firsthand, showcasing these organizations online was also very successful, with over 30,000 people reached through social media, 1,200 views on our event page, and over 80 people attending the Facebook Live broadcast. Posters around town also helped generate local buzz. We were in awe of the amount of people who shared our desire to make a difference.

Through the event, these groups were able to make valuable connections, raise awareness about their missions, and inspire others to join their efforts. It was heartwarming to see the community rally around these causes, while comedic emcee Kenn Kington shared stories and led us through a laugh-filled experience.

Raising Funds for a Cause
Contributions from fundraising and the art auction will go directly toward supporting the organizations and their work. While we’re still finalizing the total impact of the evening, it’s clear that the community’s generosity will make a tangible difference.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the success of this event, we’re already thinking about how we can build on this momentum. Over the next year, we’ll be exploring ways to grow this initiative and make an even greater impact. The feedback we’ve received so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s clear that there’s a strong desire to continue supporting these organizations and others with similar missions.

This event was a beautiful example of what can happen when people unite for a common cause, and we’re excited to see where this journey takes us next.

If you weren’t able to donate during the event, it’s not too late— there’s still a chance to support this important work. Every contribution matters, and together, we can help create brighter futures for the next generation.
