Travis is a seasoned relationship builder and entrepreneur with a career built on helping people and families create lasting value — not just financial, but relational and generational. He serves as Vice President of Investor Relations at Wilkinson Corporation, bringing decades of experience in capital raising, HNW client relationships, and community building to every conversation.
Early Beginnings
Travis's work ethic took root long before his first job in finance. Working the land and doing maintenance at his family's summer camp in East Texas, he learned early what it meant to show up every day and do the work. After graduating magna cum laude from TCU with a degree in Finance, he began his career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, where he quickly became one of the firm's top producers. He later earned his MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business, one of the country's most rigorous programs for founders.
Rallier of Resources
Rooted in rallying resources for noble causes, Travis has co-founded and led a number of ventures over the past two decades — from Apex Leadership Co., which has raised over $51 million for schools and served more than 7 million children, to DinnerTable.com, a community platform he helped bootstrap and grow to over 12,000 active families. As VP of Sales & Marketing at AffairRecovery.com, he helped build a platform that has since supported thousands of couples through their marriages. He's also spent years outside the office coaching men and families directly — founding a men's retreat he led for twelve years and co-creating the Foundations Workshop, which helps families pass on heritage, not just inheritance.
None of that happened alone. Travis is quick to point out that whatever he's built, he's built alongside — and often because of — mentors, partners, and friends who were generous with their time and honest with their feedback long before there was anything to show for it.
Travis credits mentors like Robert Lewis, Chris Legg, Dr. Chris White, and Dr. Chip Dodd for much of his growth as a leader — each investing in him at different points along the way and shaping how he thinks about business, character, and calling. Above all, he credits his wife, Mandi, whose own success and courage have been the foundation their family has thrived on.
Outside of Wilkinson
Travis and his wife, Mandi, live with their four kids — Barret, John Brooks, Westley, and Lula — and love the outdoors, especially time together at the beach.
