Tracy Hangge is the Controller at Wilkinson, bringing extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and team leadership to the team. Tracy plays a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning, ensuring Wilkinson’s multifamily investment operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Experience

Tracy’s career began in the automotive industry, where she worked for a multi-franchise dealership. After realizing she had outgrown the challenges of that sector, she took time off to raise her children but soon felt the pull to further her education. 

She earned her accounting degree from Central Washington University and quickly found an opportunity at Wilkinson Corporation. During her first five-year tenure, she built a strong connection with the company and its people before leaving to gain experience on a larger, international stage. 

Despite her time away, Wilkinson continued to be a part of Tracy’s life. Her children remained friends with the Wilkinson family, and she kept in touch with former colleagues. When the opportunity arose to return, it was Wilkinson’s culture and leadership, particularly the values embodied by Founder Russ, that drew her back.

She believes the company’s strength lies in its authenticity and dedication to building community, whether in investment strategies, charitable efforts, or internal operations.

Beyond the Numbers

When she’s not managing financial operations, Tracy enjoys spending time with her large and close-knit family of five married children and eight grandchildren. An avid outdoors enthusiast, Tracy loves to go fishing on the Columbia River, spend time at her waterfront condo in Florida, and care for her koi pond, chickens, and beloved dogs.
